Your artwork should, in some way, be representative of you…your vocal style or quality, personality, quirkiness, or some other aspect of who you are. It should establish your identity and, hopefully, a lasting impression.

Leslie Jane:

She’s an adult who sounds like a kid. With a character voice such as hers, it’s imperative to make sure that voice quality and style is specifically stated on the demo and all marketing pieces. It was from our initial marketing development meeting that she told us of the reactions phone solicitors have when she answers the phone. They would always ask to speak to her mother. Bingo! We had a campaign that told a story…on the front and back CD covers. There should be no doubt as to who she is when clients are looking to cast that kind of character voice.
